ជំនួបត្រីភាគី ៖ ភាគីថៃបានទទួលស្គាល់នូវការជូនដំណឹងអំពីជំហររបស់កម្ពុជាក្នុងការប្រើប្រាស់យន្តការផ្សះផ្សាដោយចាប់បង្ខំក្រោម UNCLOS ដើម្បីដោះស្រាយបញ្ហាដែនសមុទ្រត្រួតស៊ីគ្នា

(ភ្នំពេញ)៖ យោងតាមមន្ត្រីជាន់ខ្ពស់កម្ពុជាបានឱ្យដឹងថា «នៅក្នុងជំនួបត្រីភាគីរវាងកម្ពុជា ហ្វីលីពីន និងថៃ នាល្ងាចថ្ងៃទី៧ ខែឧសភា ឆ្នាំ២០២៦ ភាគីថៃបានទទួលស្គាល់នូវការជូនដំណឹង អំពីជំហររបស់កម្ពុជាក្នុងការប្រើប្រាស់យន្តការផ្សះផ្សាដោយចាប់បង្ខំក្រោមអនុសញ្ញាអង្គការសហប្រជាជាតិស្តីពីនីតិសមុទ្រ។ កម្ពុជា និងថៃ បានឯកភាពគ្នាប្រើប្រាស់យន្តការ UNCLOS ដើម្បីដោះស្រាយបញ្ហាដែនសមុទ្រត្រួតស៊ីគ្នា។

សូមបញ្ជាក់ថា កម្ពុជាបានបញ្ជូនកំណត់ទូតទៅភាគីថៃ នៅថ្ងៃទី៦ ខែឧសភា ឆ្នាំ២០២៦ ដើម្បីបញ្ជាក់ពីការប្រើប្រាស់យន្តការផ្សះផ្សាដោយចាប់បង្ខំក្រោមអនុសញ្ញាអង្គការសហប្រជាជាតិស្តីពីនីតិសមុទ្រ ហើយកម្ពុជាមិនទាន់បានទទួលការជូនដំណឹងជាផ្លូវការរបស់ភាគីថៃនៅឡើយអំពីការលុបចោលនូវអនុស្សរណៈនៃការយោគយល់គ្នាឆ្នាំ២០០១ ស្របតាមស្មារតីមាត្រា ៦៥ និង៦៧ នៃអនុសញ្ញាទីក្រុងវីយ៉ែនស្តីពីច្បាប់សន្ធិសញ្ញា»។

According to high ranking official, during the trilateral summit meeting between Cambodia, the Philippines and Thailand on the evening of 7 May 2026, the Thai side acknowledged the notification of Cambodia’s position to use the compulsory conciliation mechanism under the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS). Both sides agreed to use the UNCLOS mechanism to resolve their respective Overlapping Maritime Claims (OCA).

It should be noted that Cambodia notified Thailand on 6 May 2026, via a diplomatic note dated, its position to proceed withthe compulsory conciliation mechanism under the UNCLOS,and Cambodia has not yet received the official notification from Thailand on the termination of the 2001 Memorandum of Understanding, in accordance with Articles 65 and 67 of the Vienna Convention on the Law of Treaties.
